October 25 marked an important day in our calendars as we united for MDS World Awareness Day 2020!
The celebration allowed many to share what living with this rare blood cancer means to them and increase public awareness about MDS. To aid this, the MDS Alliance ran a campaign called the Faces of MDS, which encouraged the MDS community and general public around the world to unite in order to face MDS together. Our education and awareness campaign involved sharing self-portraits and selfies with MDS facts.
The successful campaign saw many people from around the world get involved. To celebrate this, the MDS Alliance has created a montage video to showcase some of the amazing faces that were posted on this day.
We thank everyone who got involved and helped us make a stand against this rare blood cancer, raising much needed awareness for the MDS community.
